Overview
In this role you will design and deliver deployment architectures for Cohesity's secondary storage solutions, turning complex customer needs into scalable, repeatable blueprints. You'll work cross-functionally with engineering, solutions, and delivery teams to guide implementations and enable partners and customers. Your work directly supports successful deployments, field validation, and training to ensure repeatable, high-quality outcomes. This role combines technical leadership with customer-facing advisory work to scale Cohesity's services.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Deliver architecture designs and professional services for Cohesity customers
- Produce and own high-level and low-level design documents (HLD/LLD)
- Act as trusted advisor to customer architects and executives
- Review design deviations and deployment readiness milestones
- Build strategic relationships with customers and Cohesity teams
- Collaborate with product solutions, PM, and engineering to align tech with customer needs
- Present architecture recommendations and deployment strategies to stakeholders
- Engage with customers to understand needs and map Cohesity features to objectives
- Develop detailed solution designs including sizing, integration, and risk assessments
- Provide field feedback to product and engineering regarding deployment challenges and automation opportunities
- Define technical architecture (sizing and performance) to meet requirements
- Ensure deployment designs are deployed successfully
- Develop best practices translating to project plans
- Improve deliverables as features are released
- Create post-deployment documentation and run books
- Convert designs and best practices into training curricula
- Deliver hands-on training in small groups
- Beta-test deployment procedures in the field
- Provide feedback to engineers on improving the overall experience
- Provide leadership and support for data recovery or Smart-Files issues
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 10+ years of professional IT experience
- Experience with deployment design, documentation, and enablement
- Strong communication and project-related skills
- Ability to manage projects to deadlines
- Travel readiness 50%
- Experience with compute and virtualization, databases, storage, networking, security, cloud, data protection and disaster recovery concepts
- Scripting/automation experience (Python, Ansible, ServiceNow)
- Excellent documentation skills
